Keep a repair kit in the car at all times. You will want to have the tools necessary to change a tire, and they likely came with the vehicle. Make sure you have a wrench that can loosen the lug nuts on your tires. A Philips head as well as flat head screwdriver should be helpful, plus socket and adjustable wrenches. You don't want to settle for buying cheap tools. If you buy high quality tools, they will not break when you really need them.
