Placing modern technology under the bodywork of an old car is a tuning process that has picked up in recent years, with one of the best-known cars of this kind being the Singer 911.

The Equus Bass770 is a new arrival, one that combines the late 1960s styling of the Ford Mustang fastback with modern-day technology like the full aluminum bespoke frame and body, and a 6.2-liter LS9 V8 supercharged engine from the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 developing 640hp at 6,500 rpm and 605 lb-ft (819 Nm) of torque at 3,800 rpm. The powerplant is mated to a rear-mounted 6-speed dual clutch gearbox.

A German dealer has put up an online ad for one six-wheeled monster, which is priced at €476,952 (644,980), 19 percent VAT included. For reference, a four-wheel Mercedes G63 AMG is priced from €116,500 ($157,550) in Germany.

Chevys Sitting for Decades in Oklahoma Lake Contained Human Remains

Few of the stories we post are as gruesome as what you're about to find out if you keep reading, but it's only words, and no real graphic content is shown.

A group of divers came across a couple of sunken cars in Foss Lake located in Elk City, Oklahoma and they decided to come back with the proper tools to pull them out, which they did. However, upon getting the two cars out of the water (both Chevys, one Camaro and an unknown 1950s model), it was discovered that the vehicles contained human remains.

A wealthy Brazilian businessman stirred a wave of negative reactions when he announced on his Facebook page that he plans to bury his beloved Bentley Continental Flying Spur.

Chiquinho Scarpa, 62, said he would bury his £310,000 (€367,220) Bentley so that he would be able to drive it in the afterlife. He explained that he has taken inspiration from Egyptian Pharaohs, who were buried with their most precious belongings, and promised he would…entomb the Bentley by the end of the week (September 21-22).

Lamborghini Aventador Splits in Two After Crashing with a Sedan in New York! [w/Video]

An unbelievable accident involving a Lamborghini Aventador and a sedan model, reportedly a Mazda, took place this past Sunday in the neighborhood of Mill Basin, in Brooklyn, New York. The $400,000 Italian supercar snapped in two, but amazingly, there are no reports of any serious injuries in the incident.

The crash was caught on camera from two nearby CCTV cameras, which show a dark colored sedan turning left from the opposite lane when the white Lamborghini Aventador was approaching (14 seconds into the video). The Italian car clipped the front corner of the sedan, which sent it crashing into a tree and breaking into two pieces.

GM Poking Around the Idea of Off-Road Variants of New Tahoe and Yukon SUVs

You would think an SUV would be capable off-the-road right off the bat, but today, no thanks to the popularity of these types of vehicles among mainstream consumers who mainly buy them to drive on paved roads, automakers engineer and equip them to look like SUVs, but behave as close as possible to passenger cars. Makes sense.

Understandably, there's room for improvements to satisfy a smaller but nonetheless, considerable segment of the market looking for more off-road capable versions. This is what GM did with its Z71 off-road package for the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban and the GMC Yukon and Yukon XL, adding taller and stronger shocks, stabilizer bar, skid plates, different wheels, body cladding and even an off-road high capacity air cleaner and front recovery hooks.
