Find Quality Car Carrier Parts

By Arline Bradley

When driving along major routes, you often see trucks with shiny new cars loaded onto the back, and wonder how they manage to fit that many vehicles onto it. With the car carrier parts available for just this purpose, it is easier than you might think to transport five to nine cars at a time. It all depends on the car size and the trailer capacity.

Often five to nine vehicles can be transported at a time, which allows a greater capacity per trip. This is with the open tubular steel design. This saves time and money, which is best for all businesses involved. Even though the cargo is exposed to the elements, in countries where weather conditions are mild and the roads are efficient and safe, it is probably the most advantageous method of delivery.

The equipment for this type of transportation method, is of a high standard, and technologically specialized. A system of hydraulics monitored and controlled from a box attached and built onto the trailer, makes the loading and off-loading process manageable and well-organized. The capability of the ramps to lift and lower is what makes this system highly sought after.

The cars are loaded onto the carrier one at time, carefully and in an experienced manner. The ones at the top are loaded first, if it is a double-decker system, and similarly they will be offloaded last. Once all have been loaded the hydraulic control arms then tilt all vehicles into the most compact and aerodynamic configuration prior to departure.

The enclosed trailer offers a greater degree of protection from the external elements, which is definitely a great advantage, but fewer cars can be hauled in one trip. Whereas, with the open-type trailer, even though it offers less protection it affords a greater yield per trip. These are very important considerations to keep in mind when deciding what the goal and ethics of your business might be.

Once the truck arrives at its destination, the cars will be offloaded carefully one at a time and parked diligently. Once again the ramps are hydraulically positioned for easy egress and safety to the remaining loaded vehicles. Careful driving skills ensure no damage will incur.

The vehicles nearest to the truck's cab are loaded first and secured, and similarly offloaded last. The ramps are lowered individually to allow the vehicles to be driven onto the trailer, then raised and set in the most efficient and space saving position possible. Once all have been loaded and tightly fixed, the truck which is equipped for that specific load is ready to make its delivery journey.

You as the client can feel secure in the knowledge that the equipment used has been supplied by a reputable company, and that all the parts are kept well maintained and in good working order. They have a reputation to uphold and a professional service that makes their company worth the service that is offered. Their drivers are experienced and know their job well, leaving you with a sense of confidence and trust that your precious cargo is in good hands.
