To broaden its appeal in the luxury sector it's currently operating in, Tesla could create a two-door variant of its Model S sedan. While such a car has not been officially confirmed (or ever mentioned?), it would probably be easier for them to make than either the Model X crossover or the planned BMW 3-Series-sized model that's set to come. Currently believed to make 510 hp, AMG's upcoming 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 is expected to be a real highlight of the upcoming AMG GT coupe. Placed close to the center of the car and featuring a dry sump lubrication system, it should offer the kind of handling the heavy SLS could never muster, and actually be a fitting rival to the Porsche 911. Mazda is said to bring back the rotary engine to the global automotive stage when a successor for the RX-7 and RX-8 sports cars launches in 2017.
