The appearance of automobiles brings out a realistic point of view in the eyes of an audience.

The audience needs to be convinced that the movie is real and the people in it live normal lives. The effectiveness of this feature is very huge and is very important in the making of good films. The simplest way in which a vehicle is used is in scenes in which something needs to be blown up. Road accidents are also depicted in the best way possible using real vehicles.

This means that a car can have more than one application on a movie set. One application is when it is used as a prop. This is where the car is in front of a camera and is seen by the people who will watch the footage. The other application is when it is used by the camera crew as a piece of equipment to aid them in taking quality shots from strategic angle.

The vehicle can be in any condition as specified by the director or producer of the film. Old cars and cars that have been deemed not road worthy can be used as crash automobiles and can be used to depict accident scenes and situations. The same types of cars can be used for the purpose of being blown up into pieces to minimize loss.

New automobiles come in handy when they are used to show the affluent and noble nature of certain characters in the piece of work. These type of cars are very expensive to get and therefore they are not supposed to be damaged at any point during the production. Other cars that will be used do not have to necessarily appear in front of the camera.

Some automobiles are used for the special purpose of helping the camera men shoot special shots from difficult angles. Cars are also used when the producers and the rest of the movie crew wants to take shots of moving objects or characters. Such situations or scenes require the use of cars that have been rigged with multiple cameras.
