GM’s Newly Trademarked “Badlands” Name Could be Used for Performance Pickup

General Motors recently filed a patent for the name "Badlands" which has been suggested could be used as a performance moniker for its Ford F-150 Raptor-fighting truck. It could very well just be a different paint and trim package version that has nothing to do with extra performance, though – it's pure speculation at the moment.
