Also, these are considered as sophisticated when talking about dirt racing. Most of these will be raced in tracks with a distance of one fourth to a mile.

The limited late model has the same rules compared to the first one. They only differ when it comes to the motor rules. Typically, the limitations of engine would include the cylinder head angle, carburetor size, displacement size of engine, and compression ratios. The rules of suspension forbid on using expensive canister shocks. The choice of tire is also limited.

Late model stock is similar to limited late models and super late models in the rules for the body. But rules for the engine are limited. Crate late models make use of special tagged engines. Parts which are sealed with these tags are the front cover, intake manifold, oil pan, and cylinder head. Engine specifications must no be altered and be modified.

Some car types are being modified manufactured. Modified cars with highest divisions for production only contain few of its original parts. Glass windshields are mostly removed and interiors will be stripped out.
