They document client needs, prepare instructions for the service department and provide estimates. A salesperson's goal is to explain the features and benefits of the vehicle and make the customer want to buy it. However, they have no power to negotiate prices. This is the sales manager's job. Many dealers have fought using any turn system even though simple mathematics proved you would be better off doing so. Well, the tide has turned again. Turn systems by themselves are now outdated and can even lower your dealers ROI without other factors involved.

Whatever your background, you may be able to find fulfilling employment at a car dealership. Do not allow existing ideas about the industry to stand in the way of your career. Make up your mind and find a job that you feel you can do instead of just speculating.
