Hyundai Veloster Teasers Show What We Already Know Posted: 08 Jan 2018 04:30 AM PST Hyundai has just dropped a number of teaser images of the all-new Veloster prior to the vehicle's global debut at the Detroit Auto Show next week. The revealing teaser images show off the front, rear, and both sides of the car and things certainly look good, thanks to design elements borrowed from the latest-generation i30. The front looks particularly impressive with a gaping wide grille, aggressive headlights with LED daytime running lights, and a tapered bumper. Similarly, the rear is a significant step on from the current model thanks to different taillights, a small roof spoiler, twin-central tailpipes, and a new bumper. The sides reveal that the latest-gen Veloster will retain the 2+1 door layout as the current model. As for the cabin, a design sketch published by the South Korean carmaker reveals a three-spoke steering wheel, white and red color palette, and some sporty touches. Even without these teasers, we've known for the past few weeks what the new Veloster would look like thanks to spy shots of the car without a hint of camouflage. Powering the entry-level Veloster will probably be the 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four of the current Veloster Turbo. A more potent Veloster N will then be created, using the same 2.0-liter turbo four as the i30 N and delivering the same 271 hp. PHOTO GALLERY |
Carroll Shelby's Own Shelby GT350H Could Be Yours Next Posted: 08 Jan 2018 03:55 AM PST You can credit Carroll Shelby with creating some of the most powerful and capable performance machinery ever to come out of these United States. But this one wasn't just made by Shelby. This one was Shelby's own. It's a 1966 GT350H – the rent-a-racer that Shelby made for Hertz back in the day. And dispatched to Hertz it was, to a location in San Diego. But less than two years later, it was purchased off the lot by a private customer. That owner ended up selling it to another, who in turn upgraded it with a new instrument pod (including tachometer and oil-pressure gauge), valve covers, radiator, roll-bar, rear spoiler, apron, and wheels. While Shelby could have picked one up himself off the assembly line, he was apparently impressed enough with that third owner's enhancements that he bought it back to use as his own mode of transportation – although it apparently wasn't the only one. Since 2008 it's been on display at the factory in Las Vegas, returned to original specifications save for the wheels. But now it's coming up for auction, consigned to Bonhams for its upcoming sale in Scottsdale ten days from now, where it's expected to sell for between $150,000 and $200,000. Photo Gallery |
The World's First Dedicated Genesis Showroom Goes All Gangnam Style Posted: 08 Jan 2018 03:31 AM PST Launching new vehicles is complicated enough. Launching an entirely new brand is another matter entirely. But that's the process in which Hyundai finds itself right now with its Genesis brand. It's already revealed the new G90, G80, and G70, and will have many more to come. But now it needs the showrooms in which to sell them. And this is what they'll look like. What you see here is the first dedicated Genesis showroom, which the automaker itself will open in June in the swanky Gangnam district of Seoul. With 14,000 square feet of floor space, the two-story facility ought to serve as the blueprint for the dealerships it'll franchise around the world in the coming months and years. So what does it entail? For starters, it's not all glass. Hyundai has gone for a more intimate environment: "a private and personal setting that enhances the interaction between the customer and the product." The vehicles are on display, of course, and there are further displays showing the colors and interior options available for order. There's also a "Launch Bay" that serves as the starting point for test drives, with an augmented/virtual reality guide to help drivers embark on five different test routes around the South Korean capital: Urban Green, Urban Highway, Dynamic, K-Road, and Short Course. The whole space is bathed in soft ambient light panels (instead of glare-inducing spotlights), perfumed with the brand's signature scent and serenaded by its signature sound – which, we gather, is not that infuriatingly catchy K-pop song that was all the rage a few years back. "The Genesis brand is a promise – a promise of a new way of automotive luxury," said brand chief Manfred Fitzgerald. "Genesis Gangnam is the physical embodiment of that promise and how we serve our clientele. Customer experience is vital and we will now work on a global scale to bring many of the aspects of our brand's flagship store to customers around the world." Photo Gallery |
Ford Details The Oily Bits On Its New Power Stroke Diesel F-150 Posted: 08 Jan 2018 03:02 AM PST Want a light duty, full-size pickup with a diesel? FCA has pretty much had that specific slice of the market cornered with the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, but now Ford's getting in on the action. First announced almost a year ago, the Blue Oval has now released full details on the sixth engine option to join the F-150 range: a new 3.0-liter Power Stroke V6, developed by the same team behind the Super Duty's 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8. Smaller though it may be, the F-150 Power Stroke diesel claims class-leading output and capacity: 250 horsepower, 440 lb-ft of torque, 11,400 pounds of towing capability, and 2,020 pounds of payload. Mated to a ten-speed automatic transmission, it's targeted to return an EPA-estimated 30 miles per gallon on the highway. "For every truck owner who wants strong fuel economy while they tow and haul, we offer a new 3.0-liter Power Stroke V6 engine that dreams are made of," said Ford's powertrain chief Dave Filipe. "The more you tow and the longer you haul, the more you'll appreciate its class-leading towing and payload capacity and how efficient it is at the pump." To make the engine strong but light, Dearborn built the new Power Stroke V6 around the same compacted-graphite iron block construction and forged-steel crank used in the 2.7-liter EcoBoost. It also employed a variable-geometry turbocharger and common-rail fuel injection to combat turbo lag, giving it a nice flat torque curve: peak torque comes in at just 1,750 rpm and stays constant across the rev range. Buyers will be able to spec the new diesel option on both 4x2 and 4x4 models, in Lariat, King Ranch, or Platinum trim levels, with SuperCrew or SuperCab configurations, and with 5.5- or 6.5-foot beds. Dealers will soon start taking orders for delivery in the spring. Photo Gallery |
Byton Premieres Crossover Concept At CES With Ambitious Production Goals Posted: 07 Jan 2018 10:56 PM PST Electric carmaker startup Byton has just premiered its Crossover Concept at CES 2018 in Las Vegas and if the vehicle reaches production, it could be a very tantalizing prospect. Byton has revealed that its crossover will be able to travel approximately 250 miles in base specification and feature a battery that can be charged with 150 miles of range in a mere 20 minutes. Additionally, it'll take just 30 minutes to top the battery up to 80 per cent of its capacity. Beyond its powertrain, Byton says the Crossover Concept will have Level 3 autonomous functionality by the time it hits the production launch and be capable of achieving Level 4 autonomy at a later date. Byton has also ditched traditional wing mirrors for the crossover and instead uses two small cameras that direct vision to the vehicle's cabin. The exterior design of the vehicle is intriguing but it is the cabin where things get really interesting. The concept features a huge 49-inch display that stretches the whole width of the dashboard which Byton says will make its way into the production vehicle. Furthermore, the Crossover Concept adopts a large display in the center of the steering wheel but we don't think that'll make it to production due to the lack of space for an airbag. Other intriguing features of the vehicle include a customized version of Amazon Alexa and the ability for the car to monitor the heart rate and blood pressure of occupants. The founders of Byton say the crossover will reach production in 2019 and start at around $45,000 with the Chinese, U.S., and European markets all being targeted. If the vehicle proves successful, it could be joined by an electric sedan and electric MPV. PHOTO GALLERY |
Pamper Your Loved Ones With 18 Porsche 911 GT3s That Are Up For Sale Posted: 07 Jan 2018 06:35 PM PST Anyone remember Mr.Deeds? The movie where Adam Sandler's character inherits a lot of money and buys a Chevrolet Corvette C5 for everyone in his town? Well, here's your chance to play that scene out in real life with 18 never-driven Porsche 911 GT3s. But, of course, apart from a really caring person, you'll also have to be really affluent. According to Road & Track, someone in the Netherlands is selling 18 Porsche 991.1 GT3s that have never been driven. The price for all of this? A reasonable $2.9 million. For the wealthy individuals out there that aren't interested in sharing the love, the price for one of the track-ready 911s is $162,000. That's a little more expensive than a 2018 911 GT3 that starts at $143,600. All of the GT3s for sale at Marktplaats are identical, sporting white exteriors with black interiors, and are equipped with the Club Sport Package. The package adds things like a six-point racing harness, a roll cage and a ready-to-install fire extinguisher. The sports cars are fitted with the automaker's steel brakes, instead of Porsche's carbon ceramic brakes. You don't see a brand new 911 GT3 from 2015 on sale every day, so it's logical to ask how this seller managed to get 18 of them together. According to the publication, he purchased the vehicles with the intention of using (renting?) them on a racetrack. Unfortunately, the track was never built, leaving the Porsches to sit idly by. While we normally wouldn't recommend purchasing a high-performance vehicle that's been sitting for years without being used, Porsche did extend the warranty for the 991.1 GT3's engine to 10 years or 120,000 miles, and you could practically create your own racing series with one heck of a performance car. Just make sure that you have found a racetrack first, will ya? PHOTOS |
BMW M3 With Subtle Mods Shines In Atlantis Blue Paintjob Posted: 07 Jan 2018 05:18 PM PST BMW might be developing the next-generation M3, but that doesn't mean the current car is outdated. In fact, these images show that, in the right specification and with certain modifications, the F80 M3 can be transformed into a truly jaw-dropping creation. This particular M3 is owned by a member of the Bimmer Post forum and is painted in a color dubbed Atlantis Blue. One of the most remarkable paint schemes we've ever seen on an M3, the shade glistens from all angles and accentuates the aggressive body lines of the performance sedan. Moreover, this M3 has been fitted with a set of HRE wheels shod in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires, 3D Design carbon fiber accents, tinted windows and a lowered K3 V3 coilover suspension. The XJR-15 Is The Jaguar Supercar That Has Slipped Under The Radar Posted: 07 Jan 2018 04:11 PM PST Before the Jaguar XJ220 came the XJR-15, and while it doesn't have a top speed to rival its successor, it holds a special place in the brand's history. Unbeknownst to most, the XJR-15 was the first road-going production car to use a carbon fiber monocoque. It was also restricted to just 53 examples worldwide. Now one of those has appeared for sale on DD Classics in Germany. The listing says that the mid-engine supercar has just 600 miles on the odo and is one of just 25 of the more luxurious 'street versions' with air conditioning, leather trim and a five-speed all-synchro transmission. In 1991, the car was originally exported to Germany and kept in storage for most of the next 17 years until it was imported into the UK with just 250 miles on the odometer. When the UK buyer took ownership, a six-year re-commissioning totaling £98,000 ($133,000) was overseen by Don Law Racing. Like all other road-going XJR-15's, it is powered by a naturally-aspirated 6.0-liter V12 engine with Cosworth aluminum pistons, a forged crankshaft and electronically-controlled sequential fuel injection. All up, there is 450 hp on tap, enough to propel the 2315 lbs (1050 kg) to 60 mph (96 km/h) in under four seconds and to a top speed of almost 200 mph (320 km/h). No asking price has been made public by the seller, but we expect a figure in excess of $500,000. PHOTO GALLERY |
Visit Paris, Come Back With A Collection Of Classic Lamborghinis Posted: 07 Jan 2018 03:57 PM PST There are plenty of good reasons to visit Paris: the architecture, the food, the culture.... But one auction house has another reason in store for you: the Lamborghinis. That's right: Paris, not Bologna, is the place to go this winter if you're keen on starting your own collection of classic Lamborghinis. Because RM Sotheby's has a whole slate of them lined up for its upcoming annual sale during Retromobile week. Among them is a 1967 Lamborghini 400 GT 2+2, one of the first that the Raging Bull marque made. The property of one owner for 50 years and with less than 40,000 miles on the clock, the Azzurro Mettallizzato sports car with a black leather interior is expected to sell for between €450,000 and €500,000 (or about $540-600k). There's a white 1970 Espada on offer as well, held by the same owner from new until just a few years ago. It's offered without reserve, but is projected to sell for €160-200k (~$190-240k). A dark blue 1971 Jarama 400 GT (also a 2+2) is valued at €130-180k (~$156-216k). Prefer your Lambos with the engine behind the cabin? There's a splendid yellow '85 Jalpa valued at €100-125k ($120-150k), a white 1991 Countach 25th Anniversary edition at €250-300k ($300-360k), and a silver '96 Diablo SE30 at €275-325k ($330-390k). There's no Miura to be found, but with the prices those have been commanding of late, that may be just as well – especially for the budding collector. Scope 'em out in the images below captured by Dirk de Jager, Peter Singhof, Remi Dargegen, and Lukas Laurikietis for RM Sotheby's, and pack your bags for February 7 at the Place Vauban in Paris. F1 Could Return To The Nürburgring Next Year Posted: 07 Jan 2018 01:56 PM PST Races come and races go from the Formula One calendar, but next year the series could return to the Nürburgring. Not to the Nordschleife, mind you – which hasn't hosted a grand prix since 1976 – but to the adjoining GP-Strecke. Those who've followed the status of the German Grand Prix will know that it had bounced between Hockenheim and the Nürburgring for years. But its place on the calendar fell into jeopardy recently as the more famous of the two fell on hard times financially. While Hockenheim has held up its end, hosting the race in 2014 and 2016, the races that would have been held at the Nürburgring were canceled in 2015 and 2017. The last time F1 visited the Nürburgring was in 2013. Hockenheim will host the race again this year, though. And now that the 'Ring is under new management, talks have been taking place to bring the series back, which could happen as early as next year. "We really would appreciate to have the Formula 1 back at the Nürburgring in 2019," the circuit's new CEO Mirco Markfort told Motorsport.com. "This will only be possible if we take meaningful economic surrounding conditions into consideration. We are able to confirm that there had been conversations with the owner of the Formula 1, Liberty Media." The Nürburgring may face some stiff competition, though. US-based Liberty Media is reportedly even more keen on holding another race in America than Bernie Ecclestone and CVC were, with Las Vegas, Miami, and New York said to be in contention. All told, Liberty is said to have received expressions of interest from as many as 40 potential new venues. Photo Gallery |
Miss Your Chance For A Maybach S650 Cabrio? This Dealer Has Two Posted: 07 Jan 2018 01:07 PM PST The Mercedes name carries with it a lot of clout. Maybach all the more so. The S650 Cabriolet, then, might be considered the Mercedes of Mercedes – or the Maybach of Maybachs. Based on the S-Class convertible, the S650 was a highly exclusive set of wheels. It packed the 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine from the AMG S65 into an even more luxurious package. Only 300 were made, leaving the overwhelming likelihood that you didn't get your hands on one. But if you missed your opportunity the first time around, there are still some to be found on the second-hand market. And this dealer has two. Listed by Deals on Wheels out of Dubai are two examples of the ultimate drop-top Benz: one in red with a deep brown leather interior, the other in black with red leather. So if you like the color red, it may be a tough choice – both presented in brand-new condition with only delivery miles on the odometer. Even tougher, though, is the asking price: 1,699,000 Emirati dollars, or roughly $462k at current exchange rates. Of course if that strikes you as pocket change, you could always buy both. 2018 Buick LaCrosse Avenir Starts At A Very Cadillac-Like $45,795 Posted: 07 Jan 2018 12:09 PM PST In the market for upscale modes of transportation, Buick falls more in the "premium" category than full on "luxury." But it's delving into the upper reaches with the introduction of the LaCrosse Avenir. Based on the brand's flagship sedan, the Avenir version takes Buick into Cadillac territory: though official pricing has yet to be announced, Automotive News reports that it will carry a manufacturer's suggested retail price of $45,795 (including destination). That represents a $3,700 premium over the next-best Premium model (which starts the new year at $42,095), or nearly $14k over the $32,990 price of a base 2017 LaCrosse. Equally telling is how the LaCrosse Avenir now compares in price to its big brothers from Cadillac: that $46k will get you into the base versions of a mid-size CTS or a full-size XTS, though not into the top CT6 that starts at upwards of $54k. For all that cash, though, the LaCrosse Avenir will come pretty darn well equipped. Don't expect many substantial options on the order sheet – aside from all-wheel drive, which boosts the price up to $47,995. Though it's Buick's flagship sedan, it's not the most expensive model the brand offers: the similar Avenir version of the big new Enclave crossover starts at $54,495 (delivered), placing it (in Cadillac terms) between the smaller XT5 ($40k+) and the truck-based Escalade (which starts just under $75k). If these prices strike you as a little much for a Buick, the automaker itself feels otherwise – and so, apparently, do its customers. Buick says that some 90 percent of LaCrosse buyers were already going for one of the top two trim levels, and that since introducing the new Enclave, 35 percent have opted for the Avenir model. It's a strategy that sister-brand GMC has followed well with its Denali sub-brand, and we won't be surprised to see Buick roll out more Avenir models in the coming years. Photo Gallery |
Mercedes Recalls Include AMG GT, G550 4x4², Maybach S600 & More Posted: 07 Jan 2018 10:56 AM PST Mercedes-Benz has issued four recall campaigns in the United States all at once, covering a wide array of vehicles for issues ranging from door locks to headlights. The largest among them covers an estimated 8,700 vehicles from the GLE, GLS, and S-Class ranges – including AMG models and even the Maybach S600 – all 2017 and 2018 models. They're being recalled for a problem with the latches on their left-rear passenger doors, which may not lock properly. Each will have to be inspected by a local technician and potentially have those lock mechanisms replaced. The next largest recall affects 8,134 examples of the GLC, which simply need to have their headlights checked and possibly readjusted. Another 432 examples of the G550 (including the 4x4²) whose power brakes may not be working properly. Finally ten examples of the AMG GT equipped with the optional AMG Performance Seats will need to either have software for their passenger airbags updated or the passenger seat cushion replaced. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, all four campaigns will kick off this month, though the parts for the G-Class and AMG GT are expected to take another month or two to arrive before they can be fitted. This Rolls-Royce Dawn Wears Its Darkness Like A Black Badge Of Honor Posted: 07 Jan 2018 10:02 AM PST At a time when so many are concerned over their carbon footprint and the future of our planet, it's almost a little sinister to drive around in a Rolls-Royce convertible, what with its twin-turbo V12 and all the subtlety of a frat boy at a pride parade. But this particular example takes that darkness and elevates it to an art form. Showcased at the world's largest Rolls-Royce dealership – yep, the one in Abu Dhabi – this Dawn Black Badge is done up in a special shade called Black Diamond. The brightwork has all been blacked out, too, right down to the Pantheon grille and Spirit of Ecstasy hood ornament. The interior trim is a carbon-like Technical Fibre woven with aircraft-grade aluminum. The fabric roof is black too, as are all parts of the wheel except for the polished spoke fascia. It'd be completely murdered out altogether if it weren't for the red accent leather (complimenting the black) and the matching Mugello Red coachline, which we're not sure make it any less sinister-looking. The finished product looks a little more Darth Maul than Darth Vader, but it's definitely driving on the Dark Side. And driving pretty fast, you can be sure – the Black Badge Dawn's 6.6-liter engine squeezing out 593 horsepower and 620 lb-ft of torque (up 30 hp and 45 lb-ft on the standard version). 2018 Audi S3 Is Probably The Ideal All-Weather Hot Hatch Posted: 07 Jan 2018 08:58 AM PST If you like hot hatches but don't want to look like a boy racer, Audi's latest S3 might just be the car for you. The latest version of the S3 is powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 310hp. If you choose the five-door Sportback bodystyle, the only transmission option is the seven-speed dual-clutch DSG automatic transmission. When equipped with the effortless and quick-changing DSG, and thanks to the Quattro all-wheel drive system, it is capable of a 0-62mph (100kmh) in just 4.6 seconds. It might not be the sharpest tool to take around the bends, but the S3 has proven to be an excellent daily driver, especially when fitted with the adaptive dampers that give it that extra layer when it comes to ride quality. Carwow reviews the 2018 Audi S3 to find out if the German hot hatch is still one of the best all-weather sleepers out there. VIDEO |
This Modified Mercedes-Benz CLS Is A Retina-Burning Abomination Posted: 07 Jan 2018 10:06 PM PST The Mercedes-Benz CLS is a quite attractive sedan, particularly in its first generation guise. With flowing yet aggressive bodywork, the sleek sedan looks both sporty and refined and, to our eyes, way better than its successor. Sadly, the owner of this CLS550 from New Jersey has ruined the good looks of the car with a number of questionable modifications. The bodywork of the car shared on Reddit has been tweaked and a set of wheel covers fitted at the rear. Even when done right, like on the Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta, wheel covers don't look pretty, and when they're just tacked on like these ones, are just awful. The weird 'upgrades' don't stop there, as the owner has plastered an AMG badge onto the trunklid (in the wrong position…) and stuck on a number of chrome trimmings, including on the rear decklid and around the triangular taillights. Labeling this thing hideous would be the understatement of the year. It also goes to show that money are not necessarily accompanied by good taste... PHOTO GALLERY |
Is This McLaren’s Upcoming BP23 Three-Seater Hypercar? Posted: 07 Jan 2018 08:52 AM PST Even though it has increased its range considerably in just a few years and having just announced that it posted record sales in 2017, McLaren is not resting at its laurels but is preparing a new hypercar that will belong in its Ultimate Series. Code-named BP23, for Bespoke Project 2 with 3 seats (perhaps the Bespoke Project 1 was the Senna), it is the spiritual successor to the iconic F1, which also featured three seats and a central driving position. It also held the world speed record from 1992, with 240.1 mph (386.4 km/h), until 2005, when the Koenigsegg CCR upstaged it, posting a 241.63 mph (388.87 km/h) v-max. Now, McLaren itself has already shown us a couple of images of a camouflaged prototype with chief tester Chris Goodwin, who has since moved to Aston Martin, at the driver's seat. It also stated that it will be the Grand Tourer of the Ultimate Series, and at the same time "the fastest ever McLaren", though we don't know if this includes the Senna or not. Anyhow, a prototype that looks a lot like the one Woking has posted was recently captured on video. It was, unsurprisingly, covered in camo and, as the description says, lacked a third seat, which could mean that it is an early, 720S-based test mule, which makes sense, as the production car isn't expected until 2019. Like all McLarens, the BP23 will use the MonoCage carbon fiber chassis, most likely in an evolved form, and since it's an Ultimate Series, we figure it will be powered by a hybrid powertrain, just like the P1, comprising of the twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 that made its debut in the 720S along with an electric motor for a total output in excess of 1,000HP. We also expect the latest iteration of the company's electrohydraulic suspension that does away with roll bars, plus the Formula 1-inspired Instant Power Assist System (IPAS), which gives an instant boost in acceleration via the electric motor, and Drag Reduction System (DRS) that were introduced in the P1. The BP23 will be produced in just 106 examples, all of which are already spoken for, and in all likelihood will be launched with a different name. Being a three-seater, we have a hunch that its designation will include the F1 moniker in some way, though this is just our guess. Pity they have Video |
2019 Mercedes-Benz G-Class Plows Into The Snow In Latest Teaser Posted: 07 Jan 2018 05:55 AM PST The all-new Mercedes-Benz G-Class has already been leaked in all of its boxy glory, but the German automaker is continuing to tease its new off-roader, recently sharing this image on Facebook. In the picture, the new G-Class is pictured traversing through deep snow, which implies that it will be just as capable off-road as its predecessor. This will be reassuring to anyone who might have feared that Mercedes would make the G-Class softer. In terms of its design, the new G-Class looks more like a facelift than an all-new vehicle. In fact, subtle changes to the front and rear fascias are the only notable changes that jump out. Inside, however, things are radically different, thanks to the all-new design and (optional) twin digital displays, two removable cup holders, and improved passenger space. One key mechanical upgrade of the new G-Class is the implementation of independent front suspension that promises to improve dynamics both on the road and off-road. In fact, the vehicle will have approach and departure angles of 31° and 30° respectively and a maximum fording depth of 70 cm (27.5 inches). The new G-Class will make its official premiere in a few days, at the Detroit Auto Show that opens on January 15. PHOTO GALLERY |
McLaren Continues To Grow, Posts Record Sales In 2017 Posted: 07 Jan 2018 05:01 AM PST McLaren is most definitely experiencing an increase in sales and recently announced that 2017 was its best year ever, as the British supercar manufacturer sold a total of 3340 cars, roughly two-thirds of which were accounted for by the entry-level Sports Series family. More specifically, 2119 Sports Series models were sold to customers in 2017, while 1221 vehicles from the Super Series range were sold, despite deliveries of the 720S only commencing in the second half of the year. Key models added to McLaren's range throughout 2017 were the 570S Spider and 720S. Not included in last year's sales figures are the limited-edition McLaren Senna and pre-orders for the upcoming BP23 hyper-GT. In a statement, McLaren chief executive Mike Flewitt said the brand is going from strength to strength. "Demand has been strong for McLaren Automotive across our product families in 2017, with interest particularly robust in our biggest market, North America. The majority of sales came from the Sports Series family, our brand entry point that is achieving significant interest and attracting new customers. "With a strong order bank stretching well into this summer, it is expected that close to half of 2018 sales will derive from the Super Series. Meanwhile, the Ultimate Series continues to surpass our expectations with a completely full order book for both the newly unveiled McLaren Senna and another future model codenamed BP23," Flewitt said.
