New Audi A3 Cabriolet Makes its Official Appearance in Photos and Video Posted: 07 Sep 2013 04:37 PM PDT Audi has yanked the roof off its open top version of the latest generation A3 series, a couple of days prior to its exhibition premiere in front of an international audience at the Frankfurt Motor Show in Germany. Key aspects of the second generation A3 Cabriolet is that, unlike its hatchback predecessor, the new model is built on the longer chassis of the sedan model, which affords it a more streamlined look (the longer rear overhang helps its proportions) together with a larger capacity boot, while this time, it will reportedly be available in North America as well. Fiat Boss Says Alfa 4C Will Be 100Kg (220Lbs) Heavier in the U.S. Posted: 07 Sep 2013 06:29 AM PDT The Alfa Romeo 4C had a lot of media coverage in recent months and rightfully so, as it is the most anticipated model from the Milanese firm in decades. As the mid-engined lightweight sports car goes on sale this month in Europe and in the United States a few months later, Fiat is describing it as a "masterpiece" for the Alfa Romeo brand. In an interview with Autonews Europe, Fiat's European product development head, Mauro Pierallini, said the 4C it's better than the Lotus Elise. Read more » |
